Wednesday (04/21/2010) Alba with United States congressmen visiting South Africa. They went to Africa in order to campaign for a charity event called '1 GOAL '.
Not only South Africa that visited Alba, she also set foot in Ghana and Senegal. There Alba visited the school and the football foundation and gives some purpose to the school.
"It's difficult for me to believe, 72 million children in the world do not get proper education. The most frightening 60 percent of them are in Africa," Alba said as quoted by Female First, Friday (23/04/2010).
Alba is not just visited to Africa, she also tried to learn a lot from the unfortunate circumstances in the country. Alba hopes millions of people who will watch the World Cup in South Africa care about the state of African education.
"Millions of people will be watching South Africa to host the World Cup. We're asking people around the world to pay attention to 72 million children out of school and called us all," hope Alba.
