American Idol season 9 journey ended for two Idol hopefuls last night.Unlike previous result episodes when you have to wait til the end of show to find out who is leaving, this time the first elimination was announced within 15 minutes of the beginning of the live telecast.
The first one to leave American Idol 2010 last night was Andrew Garcia which came as no surprise. On the night before on the Elvis theme night, Garcia sang "Hound Dogs" which obviously did not impress voting Americans.
Second from Top 9 to be sent home was Katie Stevens who sang "Baby, What You Want Me To Do" the night before.
This week's double elimination was the result of previous week's save of Michale Lynche better known as "Big Mike", by the judges after America voted him off.
However "Big Mike" justified his save, by giving a strong performance this week singing "In the Ghetto".
This week's mentor Adam Lambert who himself is a former contestant of the show, performed his hit single "What Do You Want From Me." Also performed season 7 finalist Brooke White with Justin Gaston "If I Can Dream".
So that is it about American Idol April 14 results as we get one week closer to the next American Idol. We will be back with more American Idol news and reviews. Your comments on American Idol review are welcome.
